Men's Sweater developed for the intrepid British commandos
The daring night raids of the British commandos were the stuff of legend – and a much needed morale boost to British civilians suffering constant Luftwaffe bombings in 1940. So promising were the raids, Winston Churchill gave the commandos special priority on equipment development. Dripping with swagger, the Commando Sweater was born as a stealthier alternative to the cumbersome jackets of the regular army. Cotton twill-reinforced shoulders stood up to wear from slinging a Sten gun, pack or map case. Twill elbow patches handled crawling behind fortifications. For improved comfort, we’ve adapted the concept by replacing the scratchy military wool with a softer, more refined 51% Merino wool/49% cotton blend that’s machine washable. Just the ticket for your job site battles.

Men's Sizing Chart
Tradesman Sizing: Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.
Head: Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Inches can then be converted to a hat size.
Neck: Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).
Chest: Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides. Sleeve: Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.
Waist: Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.
Inseam: Measure a pair of pants that fits you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1/2".
* For best results, take measurements over your underwear. Use a soft tape measure, and allow it to sit comfortably.
