I first encountered the Gastrock Staff on an eco walking tour of the Costa Rican rain forests. A Swiss member of our group had a Gastrock Staff, swearing by the balance, traction and stability he found with it. He maintained that a good staff reduces up to 25% of body weight from the knees, feet and lower back, and that he got better breathing efficiency. Our Gastrock Sta
