    COMMENTS:

Here in Australia, It's really hard to find a good flannel shirt. The flannel shirts sold retail here are from Asia which have very thin material that rips, tears, and disintegrates within a very short time.
After being disappointed and annoyed at all the money I've been wasting on inferior product, and while international shipping costs makes my eyes water, I decided to try a non-local product - I bought one burlyweight free swingin' shirt and a normal free swingin' shirt in my order.
While I was mildly disappointed that this shirt is also made in Asia, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised just how much thicker and sturdier the material was, and also how warm it is when wearing it (we're still in the warm part of the year, but it's been raining and windy at the time of writing). I'm fairly top heavy and narrow in the waist as well, so I usually need shirts that are XL or even 2XL, so I was a little skeptical about the sizing, but I decided to go for a large (I could probably pass for a XL according to the chart, given that my neck and sleeve measurements fall into that category, and having a 45"+ chest) but I have to say the chart is pretty spot on.
This is easily the best flannel shirt I've ever worn. While I also like the standard shirt, I think I prefer the burlyweight shirt just at how much thicker and warmer it is. I'm definitely going to order some more of these.

      COMMENTS:

I've found my new brand. I love this shirt. It has a solid weight yet is still comfortable in warmer temps. Now I just need to order those fire hose jeans to complete the outfit. The medium shrunk just enough after drying to fit like a charm.

      COMMENTS:

This shirt is great as an outer layer when temperatures allow it. It's also great as a layer. I usually throw this on over a t-shirt for when I'm driving from site to site in my work truck. Then when it's time to get out and work in the elements I'll toss my coat on over it. Couple times I've gotten too warm thanks to this flannel and had to lose the coat. I've already ordered another one. Hopefully they come out with some newer selections for colors.

One of the best all around flannel shirts I own. Superb for freezing conditions and roomy enough for free movement which is essential in the field.

          COMMENTS:

Originally ordered in too large a size. My son-in-law has had difficulty finding clothes that fit. He is muscular in shoulders and thighs but slender in waistline. He has been wearing 2xl in other brands but they didn't accommodate shoulders comfortably. I ordered a 3xl having discovered that Duluth does have that sizing. I did not measure using the chart because it was a gift. The shirt was WAY too large! I used the chart and a tape measure and he is a perfect 1xl. It is his favorite shirt ! He is thrilled with fit, quality and comfort of materials. He now has a vendor for shopping without disappointment. "Big and Tall" brands have never fit. He is not big or tall, just muscular, average height, active and fit! Now he is comfortable!
Having paid for shipping on the original order, I was a bit upset to have to pay for the shipping back for exchange, but had I used the sizing chart that would not have been necessary.
