Solid jacket that goes great with jeans when out for beers and still works well the next morning at work! Nice snap buttons and good size pockets. Lots of room to move your arms too.

      COMMENTS:

Came back to buy a second one, and realized I had not reviewed. This is the perfect, kinda cool weather jacket. Too warm for above 50 and below freezing you might need something else. My wife calls it my "farmers jacket" but I think it is great for city wear. I have a gray one, now, gonna go with the dark red.Seriously, this shirt jacket is perfect!

I would recommend it to my father in law!

Superb outer layer for heavy outdoor work

      COMMENTS:

This is first & foremost a SHIRT -- two chest pockets, and no more. Like all Fire Hose products, it's a little bulky but provides *superb* protection against thorns and other poky things. The snaps are nice and firm, and work well with gloves on. When I received it as a gift, I wasn't to be honest sure what it was good for...but I figured it out.

Here's the deal: This is your outer layer for running the snowblower, that you leave in the garage because the wife doesn't want to smell 2-stroke oil. This is the layer you get covered in sawdust and bar oil, then toss in the back of the truck. The way this shirt is constructed, I'll probably be doing that for heavy/dirty labor in the cold months for the next 20 years.

      COMMENTS:

Looking back I wish I had not purchased this specific product. Now having worked in it I wish i was able to buy something similar but now looking for what i really want i can not find it in the duluth product line. The jacket is very durable and made out of quality materials but it can cause some inconveniences, so let me explain. the size seems to be right for mine except its a tad tight around chest when reaching for stuff such as feed bags or closing the lap bar in bobcat it tugs on the back where the gussets should be. one thing i didnt realize when buying was it didnt have hand pockets on the front, then the construction could be better meaning it should have zipper and not the snaps in the small amount of time i have had it the snaps have been caught on things like dollys and come undone which bugs the heck out of me. then one thing i have noticed out of all of DTC product line is the lack of hoods on products, i cant figure out why you would have rain/water proof products if your head and neck is unprotected and running into the jacket. Overall I love the other products of DTC especially the pants and if they made this jacket or type of jacket with same durable materials that had zipper, pockets for gloves and stuff and a hood it would be perfect. I should have as a consumer put more thought into it i am sure it is a Good product just not for me or my work (feed store, plumbing, construction and farming.) but would be great for casual wear. never returned anything dont really feel like putting up with it. il still use it just need to find something a tad more functional for everyday work. Not had it long but the worst its been through was around 33 degrees in cold rain in dirt dust when under roof, seemed to be windproof which was nice water proof except for head and stayed warm even when not moving all that much, seemed to perform in the those environments considering, just wish my head was covered or i had pockets to put my gloves and toboggan when not usin
