I bought this to wear to Edinburgh for the rain showers. The description made it seem like a fairly light raincoat. However, it was made of some rubberish-feeling material, it did not breath at all, and it was oppresively sweltering for our mild-weather August visit.
What I thought was going to be a light coat made me sweat so much that I ended up as wet as if I'd been out in the rain, only smellier.
I will be returning this item, I can see no use for it for me.

Looks good casual and over a suit/sport coat. Didn't give it a 5 just for the lack of a zipper front. Read the descriptions carefully, is the lesson.

Coat is lightweight, yet waterproof and warm.
It can be easily rolled up and stashed.
My sleeve length is 18" and the sleeves are still way too long. It is also huge through the chest.

I really like the taller than average collar because it keeps the rain off the back of my neck when it's turned up.

Also, the interior pockets make it easy to stash a scarf or crushable rain hat so I can simply "grab and go" when I need to head out.

I suggest buyers go up one size to ensure they'll be comfortable wearing a suit or sport coat underneath.

Works great as advertised. In combination with firehose overcoat covers all temperatures in Iowa for a fellow who has to wear coat and tie every day.

This is a topcoat that gives great protection from wind and rain without weighing a ton. I use it for those times when I'm wearing coat and tie and my Force Nine coat wouldn't be appropriate. It works well without excess bulk and looks sharp doing it. I'm no fashion plate but this coat always makes me look well turned out.

I used this up in Montana in November gathering cattle in the coldest weather I have experienced and was the warmest one in the group because of this jacket. Flexability was great and it did not restrict me at all in the saddle.

A great coat for wet weather. I wear it around campus during rainstorms and everything underneath it is completely dry. Stands up to Philadelphia rainstorms as well. Sleeves are a little longer than expected, need to get those taken in a bit. But a great buy, worth every cent.
