    Great pants - Sizing Issues

    By Art the Missionary

    Pros

    • Tough Pants

    Cons

    • Sizing issues

    Best Uses

    • Outdoorstrades

Great pants, comfortable, tough, made for the handyman or outdoorsman. The only issues are sizing. I wear size 36 pants with 32 inch inseam. I ordered size 38 since the pants have an adjustable waist strap. However, the 38 was a good fit and the 36 waist size would have been definitely too small. I am glad I ordered the 38 inch waist, but would have been in trouble with high dollar pants that would not fit if I had ordered the 36 waist. Also, the inseam is longer. I ordered 32 inch inseam, but the pants are a little too long. I normally wear 32 inch inseam. I need a 31 inch. 30 would be too short. I am not sure how I will solve this problem on future orders.

    Simply Put, great pants!

    By David the Log Splitter

    Pros

    • Breathability
    • Construction
    • durability

    • Weight

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Anything outdoor
      • Automotive Work
      • Yard Work

I wear these pants every time I work on my vehicles or work out in the yard. One thing that has amazed me is how protective these pants are. While splitting wood I've taken many shots to the legs by various sizes of wood shrapnel. Not only have the pants gone undamaged, they also take the edge off preventing any injury. Plus they always clean up well in a standard wash. As I said above, great pants.

I love my Men's Firehose Military Pants

      Cons

      • Only In Green For My Size

      Best Uses

      • Great for motorcycles

These pants were purchased for my cross-country motorcycle trip and they have performed far beyond my expectations. I did not need to wash the pants prior to wearing. What I did discover is that these pants are pretty water repellant, and in a light, short rain on the motorcycle, that is wonderful news.

I love the side pockets, they are great for holding phones and wallets, so that the items in your pockets do not poke you when you sit down to ride.

I have been highly impressed with the quality of stitching and durability of the pants, and the more I wear them, the more comfortable they become. I am hoping that they will carry the camel color in my size soon. The vintage Olive color is good, but the Camel color looks awesome.

The first pair of pants I ordered did not fit me, but when I called to re-order a different size, customer service was excellent and my correct pant size came in when they said it would. I look forward to purchasing more pants from Duluth Trading in the future.

I found that over all these pants are great. they are comfortable and rugged. I like the idea of the take in tabs on the sides, however they tend to loosen on my pair to easily. this prevents them from being useful but the pants more than make up for this fact. I also think they run a little on the large side. I needed 2 sizes down from what I measured.

              Durable and comfortable

              By paneerakbari

              from Akron, OH

              Pros

              • Ample storage
              • Double-stitched Seams
              • Generous fit
              • Nice colors
              • Reinforced Hems
              • Tall Rise

              Cons

                Best Uses

                • Casual
                • Work

I am not an easy man to size for pants, but these fit perfectly. The measured sizing runs true. The rise is good and tall, making for plenty of room in the crotch. The legs are cut to a good width, so there's room for guys with big legs.

I got mine in olive drab, and I really like the military styling.

Every seam is reinforced and double-stitched, I have no doubt these will stand up to some abuse.
