WoW...didn't know what I was missing!

Great pants. They move with you and flex while you work/play, as advertised. This, along with the lighter weight, when compared to the original firehose pants, allows for a much cooler experience. These have performed well out of doors while on day hikes, and working in the garden an around the house. Pocket design is awesome. I seriously have not found any other pants out there that can beat the duluth fire hose pocket system. It is the gold standard in my book.

Where have you been all my life?

        Pros

        • Comfortable

          Best Uses

          • Great everyday pants
          • Outdoor activities

Just what I was looking for. Instantly my favorite pants. I expect to be wearing these comfortable, practical, good-looking pants the rest of my life. Sensation of items in the wonderfully deep pockets hitting right above my knee takes a little getting used to. Also, sometimes when I think I have sealed a pocket with the hop and loop closure I find I found that I have attached the flap to the inner patches and the pocket is still open. But getting used to the innovative features doesn't take long.

Great for travel because of the deep front pockets.
Able to carry passport and wallet in front for safety reasons.
              Don't wrinkle

              Best work pants I've worn

              Pros

              • Fabric weight
              • Pockets
              • Roomy

              Cons

                Best Uses

                • Yard Work

Best fit of any work pants I've had. Fabric is more comfortable than denim jeans. Fit is still loose even with the pockets loaded down. Pants don't "cut and bind" no matter how I move.

I bought these pants for my husband - he loves the stretch for comfort. They give when he needs it - out in the woods, chain sawing, bending to fertilize trees, prune, etc. He also finds the many pockets quite helpful for storing all his tools and gadgets. The only comment I heard negative is that the zipper is loose and "unzips" frequently; otherwise he just LOVES them!

This is my first pair of Flex Fire Hose pants. They fit well, plenty of room, comfortable, and seem tough. Time will tell though. I have only worn them once. May buy a light color pair of the same for the summer working in the woods.

I have two versions of the fire hose pants. The first version didn't stretch. Still they are great pants and extremely durable but a little stiff. The new version is the firehose pants that stretch. They are soft, extremely comfortable and durable and do not feel like a work pant at all. Very happy with both versions but would recommend the stretch version for all those out there who need to bend and stretch to get the job done.
