It is important to keep the sun off your head here in Fla. this hat also covers the back of your neck avoiding blistering sunburn. This is not my first of these hats, I have ordered three in the last 5 years. They are very durable and comfortable, oh and very recommended !

Hat was received and was the wrong size . I followed the sizing instructions you gave and the hat was to big by a half size. I sent it back and did not receive any word from you about shipping another smaller hat . I had to call you to find out it had been back ordered.

This is a great product. The reviews we read helped us decide. I aleady have sun spots on face and my doctor ordered me to get a large hat. I love the style. We do not drive any more but get around on our Pride 3-wheel Scooters which keeps us in the sun alot. This is great protection and I really like so much.

I got caught outside in heavy rain, the only thing on my body that was not soaking wet was my hair! After several years of wearing the hat it was very sweat stained around the brim; I decided to wash it in heavy detergent soap, that completely disolved the fabric around the stained area making the hat no longer wearable. If I did not wash the hat I could have got more usage from it.

Planning to take on our trip to Australia and I hope it is crushable. It fits my husband's big head just perfectly....lots of hats are too small either in looks or fit.

Go by the Duluth size chart it works! I usually wear XL with a 73/8 head size the large I ordered per the chart is perfect.
