this hat may look a little silly but it really helps keep the uv rays off your face. i often have to work out in a parking lot where there's no shade, and during the dog days of summer sunscreen only lessens how much you get burned. with this hat my face doesn't burn at all, now if only they made one that covers your arms too.

Great hat, I like the wide brim and the vents on the side, it remains cool in the sun. I have had numerous skin cancer issues and this hat really helps protect my head and the sides of my face.

I hate wearing a baseball cap as they are always hot and hold the heat to my head. This hat allows me to get out of the sun and still maintain a cool head. Even my pony tail doesn't get in the way.
