Back when I started out as a tradesman, buying a pair of the standard wedge soled moc toe contractor boots was a right of passage. I haven't stopped wearing them since that first day on the job. I've tried other styles that are supposed to be more comfortable, but nothing even comes close. My favorite sales pitch was, "it will feel like your favorite pair of athletic shoes." That pair lasted two days and I went back to my old pair of contractor boots. As of late, I have found that the quality of my favorite brand has declined, the insoles don't last and the leather is stiff and a strange orange color. So, I went out and found a boot maker in Wisconsin to make our Duluth Trading boots. They still make work boots with the highest grade of leather and top of the line removable insoles that keep your feet comfortable all day. Our boots even have a Vibram™ sole, just like my first pair. Vibram™ set the standard for durability, comfort, and oil and acid resistance. Unlike most boots on the market today, ours can be resoled. 8" Soft toe. Made in USA.
