These did not work for me at all. I am outdoors a lot, and I have a difficult time keeping my hands from freezing. I have tried every type of glove/mitten out there; I thought that this product would be my answer, but it was not.

I ride horses in really cold weather, and my hands always freeze. I have been using the disposable charcoal hand warmers but they get expensive when you use them all the time. These work just as well, and pay for themselves in no time. And it's Zippo, so you know it's excellent quality.

I bought two one for myself and one for my son for Christmas. We snowmobile a lot In the winter. We each have one in our pockets when riding. Sometimes we have to stop & take our gloves off to do/adjust something. The zippo quickly warms our fingers up before putting the gloves back on. You stop having fun when your fingers are numb! I'm impressed with how long they put out heat on a single fill.

Use this on frigid morning jogs. Warms up thos hands before the sun has come up. Great camping item, too. Fit one in each side pocket. Too big to fit inside gloves, but you can fit inside larger mitts. Excellent gift idea: lightweight, inexpensive, good stocking stuffer at Christmas.

First 2 didn't work. Finally got 1 to work, but didn't put out much heat. Idea is great. Customer service great.

I work outside and my hands can get pretty cold. The zippo hand warmer keeps my hands warm all day. I bought two, one for each pocket, so all I do is put my hands in my pockets from time to time and no more frozen hands!

the first time use, like zippo lighters, seems to be the hardest to light, and keep lit. But with some patience and minor break-in time it will work really well. DO NOT USE OUTSIDE OF PROTECTIVE BAG. I thought it wasn't warm enough and put in a pocket without the bag and noticed a burn blister a few days later. They do mention this in the instructions, though.
