These glomitts are made of very nice, breathable material. The material itself is also waterproof (obviously the design of a glomitt doesn't allow the thing to be waterproof).
One problem I had was with the padded palm - it doesn't seem like a lot of padding, but it is enough to constrict finger movement. The biggest issue is the closure of the thumb - it is not engineered to allow the flap to overlap the rest of the finger. This means that there is always just a bit of skin exposed to the elements. The flap for the rest of the fingers doesn't suffer from the same problem, but it could have been a bit more snug.

Picked up a set for snowboarding. Being able to use my phone\ipod and mess with my goggles without taking off the gloves was great. Works well in temps down to about 15 deg but needs a little more insulation for lower. Micro-fleece is more like nubuck. Never got wet and only got a little snow in the fingers (only after a faceplant in 2 feet of snow).
Think I'll try a liner underneath and see if it helps for real cold days.

I was so delighted with the first pair that I bought six more (getting the bulk price) - for gifts and extras for myself. I am a 5'4" woman and the small size works great for me. These are my daily go-to gloves this winter. They got me through our historic blizzard in December and all the record cold dog walks since then - temps mostly in the teens and 20s. When I need to take a photograph, the mitten flips up easily providing fingertip dexterity while most of my fingers are still covered. Flip the mitten down and my fingertips quickly heat up. I've even been using these gloves for driving and biking since the palms are padded and have grip. A fantastic bargain at [$] with a couple extra glomitts for spares and loaners.

These were purchased as a gift and they were an immediate hit. My nephew wears them on his job with a surveying crew. He loves the convenience of keeping all of his fingers warm and the ease of flipping the mitten and even the thumb back so he can use his fingers. The fact that they stay back out of the way is great! He uses them everyday and is really happy with them.
