Both myself and my eighteen year old use this product for winter biking. It is the best I've used. Used another Minnesota made design for years in oilfield work out West but couldn't find a replacement. This one is far superior for many design reasons but the truth is in the using. Great design and manufacturing product. Look forward to many years of usage!

when its windy out and you dont want to cover your ears and head, this thing covers the full head down to the neck. keeps you warm and comfy while you do your thing, dont have to hold your nose to get warm. i didnt even feel the need to zip the jackey upto my neck since this kept it covered and warm. I wear glasses and they fit comfortably in it.

I got this for snow blowing in Chicago. The wind can really gust here, especially in alleys that act like wind funnels. The wind often pushes the snow blower's throw back into my face. I've used this face mask in two big storms and no more face stinging from the snow. The cover for the mouth actually works! I can breath easily, the air is somewhat warmed, and nothing gets in. The face mask is quite good at keeping my head warm. In single digit temps I use the jacket's hood also, over 15-20, the face mask alone is good.

I purchased a couple of these Windblockers specifically for use in late night/early morning telescope viewing sessions. By midnight the atmosphere has become pretty stable, and the views of the night sky are simply beautiful. I love this product! Not only is it warm & super lightweight, its completely wind proof which is a huge plus for when I'm out ridin the quad on cold days...plus it fits under my helemt very nicely with its thin sleek design...great product!!

I ordered this for my brother because he has to work with the elements and it can get really cold here in Louisiana near the water. He rolled it up right away and put it in his work gear bag and said that he'll definitely use it, so my mission was accomplished.

I work in the oilfield and this thing is great.
I use it even in the rain and I stay warm.
The outside may get wet but the inside stays nice and warm.

I'm a civilian contractor in Afghanistan and I wanted something to protect my face this winter as I bike to/from work (I'm on a big installation). This face mask is warm, comfortable, and easy to don/doff. At first, I thought the mesh mouth hole would let cold air pour in, but after using it, very little air actually did (breathing out regularly helps, I think), plus that mesh reduces condensation on the inside of the mask. I got the M/L and it's just a wee bit loose on my medium (7-1/8 in military headgear) head, but not bothersome at all. I zip my coat all the way up and the mask doesn't ride up or expose my neck. I give it 4.5 stars since I wish it came in another size or two, but it's still a quality piece of gear.
