This bag is great! I was using a plastic box from Staples to carry all my daily stuff for my rental business, paperwork, camera, checks, some tools, etc. I used to lug around a heavy duty 5" Samsonite briefcase, but found it too bulky and heavy, plus I much prefer something I can reach into, rather than something that I have to open. This bag fits the bill perfectly, plenty of pockets to organize, and a huge center compartment that can take anything I need for the day. Yes, the bag is big and not some dainty thing, but for me, it's perfect.

I bought this bag for carrying everything to work (lunch, books, purse, etc.). I absolutely fell in love with the quality and good looks of this bag. The problem is, I am under 5'5". This bag at the shortest length of strap hits me mid thigh - and is pretty bulky. Sadly, I am returning it. Hopefully, the briefcase with same look will fit me better. I only wish you would make the Postmaster's Tote for us petite women!!

I'm an emergency physycian and I've found that this bag has an incredible amount of room for books, clothing, medical equipment, electronics, etc... and all the pockets qnd flaps on the outide make for easy access to keys, ID badges, pens, reading glasses - everything you need to find with one hand. I tried carrying a laptop in the main compartment, but the computer would lay flat, making it uncomfortable to carry, but to my surprise, the 15" laptop fit very easily in one of the inside pockets on it's side. Very easy to maneuver on a crowded train. One thing to be aware of - this isn't a "messenger bag". It really is like a postman's bag - but it is very comfortable and practical for commuting and on-call overnights.

I use my tote for traveling. Holds all of my needs and more. Expect to have it around for a good while.

I bought this bag for commuting on the Ferry to SF. The pocket on the bag are located well, easily accessible and useful. I like the look and feel of the bag. The materials seem top quality. My greatest concern/complaint is the handle is held together/shut by two snaps. When the bag is empty the handles separate and put a strain on the snaps. When the bag is full the handles really separate and strain the snaps, this causes the bag to sag. I anticipate the snaps will not be long for this world add this to the fact that the D rings rotate and pinch the leather loops and think the design is not quite right. Once the handle goes the bag will be useless to me. I am returning the bag.

I bought this for my husband for our 3rd anniversary (leather!) and he loves it. I wanted a weekend bag that would also work as a carry on, handle all his stuff plus the computer, books, etc. This bag is perfect; full of organizing pockets, very robust and sturdy but soft sided with high quality leather, The style is quite unique and handsome. Nothing flimsy or common about this bag. I am tickled with my purchase. Thanks Duluth guys and gals for another high quality product.

This is the perfect bag for work - big enough to hold all my daily essentials, but not too bulky. Also makes a great carry-on bag.

The only small downside to the bag is that because the over the shoulder strap has both connections on one side of the bag frame, you have to secure the top snap closure before carrying the bag with the over the should strap. I think if they had a connection on both sides of the frame, you wouldn't have this problem.

i use it everyday now. its far superior to my backpack. i am really glad i invested in it. when i got it last week, and i took it out of the box, it was presented in its own sturdy cotton canvas dust bag , and all i thought was, wow what a great bag. it will go everywhere with me now. already had several people ask me, where did you get thet bag.
