I just got this and really like it. I will carry it to work every day. wish the top was a little wider but it still works great and looks great at work. It holds all I need it to and could stuff in more if necessary.

I am retired but need a sturdy briefcase for a couple of heavy volunteer administrative jobs I have taken on. This one will definitely do the job. I like the materials and the trim. I will also be using it as a airline carryon during travel.

I purchased this bag three years ago. I am still in love with it. Decided to purchase a duplicate for my business computer. I was very unhappy with the changes they made to this bag. It now has only one zipper tab instead of two for the main compartment. This makes it harder to open and close. The strap now has one attachment point on the front and one on the back. On the old bag they are both on the back. The new arrangement makes it harder to remove the larger laptop computer. The larger front pocket also now has only one zipper tab. This makes it much more difficult to remove my "personel protection" with any type of speed. It is still a well built bag but, I really wished they hadn't made these changes.

My only negative is that the bag just wasn't what I was looking for. It's a great bag, but my needs led me in a different direction.

Eventually returned after a year. Durability was an issue, leather strap that held down back storage pocket simply broke, plus firehouse material was very prone to discolorations (easily absorbs dirt). [...]

This bag goes everywhere I go, it's been all over the US, in airplanes, busses, and trains, and even served as an overnight bag a number of times. I am still amazed by the capacity. There have been times where I thought I reached maximum capacity, and I could still fit mroe stuff. In fact, right now it's holding all of my work supplies, plus a pair of size 12 shoes! The only complaint I have is that the strap that came along with the bag is a little scant, but it's still held up just as well as the bag. Plus, I work in DC, and would not classify myself as a "city slicker" by any stretch, so having this bag sets me apart from my more urban counterparts, much to my liking. Even when I have to wear a suit, this bag goes with me. Overall, one of the best pieces of luggages I've owned!

I bought this as a gift for my son in law who is a firefighter and teaches paramedic classes. He needed something to stay organized for his classes. He LOVES this bag. It is so well made and he has received many compliments not only on the design but also the materials. Being made from firehose material is right up his alley. What can I say...his mother in law is the best! Thanks Duluth.

The only thing I would say on a negative side is the difficulty in accessing the contents. The zipper top does not allow you to get to the contents with ease.

Great product. I use it for work related purposes as well as travel. Great construction and very high quality. The only issue is the mouth doesn't open quite wide enough and my laptop wouldn't fit in the pocket.
