Comments about Men's Regular Metal Free Suspenders:
Eliminates the binding of belts especially when sitting for long periods. With the right clothes it even permits popping a few buttons without the humiliation of exposure.

Took dad a few tries to get them on. Now he can come and visit without dropping his drawers at the airport.

Comments about Men's Regular Metal Free Suspenders:
What can I say, to me they look a little odd sort of like something Santa Clause would wear, but spouse wears them even with sweatpants so it's not like style is number one on his list of prime considerations. He wanted them for Christmas because he will not wear a belt with a buckle when he plays guitar which is often. His buddy had another brand with plastic pieces that slid over/under a belt. With this style there is no need for a belt at all. The side attachment is ideal because even the plastic parts are well out of the way. A very picky person to shop for, he was very happy with the purchase. Even likes the little detail that their shape makes them stay where they belong even on personal trips to men's room .. I'll take his word for it.

Comments about Men's Regular Metal Free Suspenders:
These suspenders fit well without binding under the arms and they are strong. They look good, though some people look twice to see whether you are carrying a gun. They do not catch on seatbacks when getting in and out. Since there are just the two suspension points the pants should have a strong waistband or you can wear a loose belt, which I do, especially with cargo pants. The suspenders do not show if you wear a jacket.

These are a gift for my Dad, he is allergic to nickel, so these are great for him-he always wear suspenders, he has a pair from another company, these look very sturdy.

Comments about Men's Regular Metal Free Suspenders:
As one who has resisted the idea of wearing suspenders due to thinking of them as something my grandfather would wear, I'm here to say that these side attachment suspenders resemble a shoulder holster duty rig rather than something to keep your pants from falling down. They really work well in helping to support the weight of a loaded duty belt. I've been able to wear them all day with comfort.

Comments about Men's Regular Metal Free Suspenders:
I bought two. In both cases after about a month the metal pin that holds the hinges worked its way out making the clip fall apart.
