I drive tractor trailer for a living. This vest provides pockets for my cell phone, pens, gloves, etc. with out bulk. Good protection from wind and rain while keeping my arms free. I often place my chain wallet in the lower inside pocket.

Would prefer the outside breast pockets switched, and the inside breast pockets larger. Do not feel secure putting anything in the small pockets, not that much will fit in them.

I was turned on to Duluth Trading by a friend about a year ago. I am a probation officer and prefer to wear a vest to cover my sidearm. I love the Duluth vest quality. I have two. This vest is durable and light weight. It is warm if you are doing some exercise. One slightly negative thing is the front top pocket alignment is off by 1/4 inch, which is noticeable on the colored vests.

I coupled this vest with a zip-up hooded sweatshirt for a trip back to WI in the middle of winter from FL. Not to warm for down south (unzipped) and plenty warm for the north (zipped). Lots of storage places for cell phone, boarding pass, wallet, keys, and a book especially for going through security.

I don't particularly care for the inner-breast pocket designs; could be wider and deeper. Also the placement seemed high and a little close to the armpit...but don't let that discourage you, still a great buy.

I ordered this as a Christmas Gift for my husband.
as I could not find a good vest with warmth,and pockets and was not too bulky as my husband for his job has to drive alot and get in and out of the truck. He wanted something with pockets that were in easy reach to store, pens, papers, phone etc. He loves it and wears it everyday. He is medium frame but unfortunetly has a very big stomach and wanted to layer with sweatshirts. I first ordered the large and returned it for the extra large for more room. He could not wait for the vest to come in a size that was good for him.
The return process was made easy and we are so pleased to have found Duluthtrading. My husband reviewed the catalog and just loves the products and hopes to order more products when finances allow.

I've had a force 9 work vest for over year and wear it nearly everyday other than summer. It's great for travel, work and play as long as it's not too cold or wet. It has held up quite well for the use it gets.

this is a good light weight vest for work. not bulky, plenty of pockets, at times to many, but i still like lots of pockets. i don't like theinterior strap closures and would prefer a flap for the pockets, but they work. you can be like a pack mule with all the pockets,which i like. it's great to layer with a fleece, good mobility. it'sgood looking product. pencil pockets are on the wrong side for righties. doesn't give you much rain protection. overall i like the product. i wish they would add a flap on interior pockets, put pencil pockets on the opposite side, have different levels of warmth, i'm from cali and we are sissies when it comes to cold. so a heavier version would be appreciatted.love the napoleon zip pocket, great for the wallet, cell pocket works good
