I work outside everyday. In the Pacific Northwest that means rain in the winter time, summer time or anytime. I stay dry in these pants. I own the matching jacket too. Best rain gear I have ever owned. Back pockets zip close. Front pockets are deep and have an overlap flap to keep the rain out. The pass through openings on front pockets have a zipper closer, kinda small to get my hands through, but I don't need to get through very often. The web belt snaps to hold the pants up. I had to go with a pair of suspenders to do an adequate job of keeping the pants up. The zippers on the legs are good, but slowly unzip as I work. However I can get these pants on over my heavy steel toe work boots. I wear sweat pants under them and stay plenty warm. Overall, good rain gear, tough, don't rip and hold up against kneeling on concrete and steel.

I loved the jacket when I bought it, and the pants are no different. I would not recommend them for a hot summer day, but I don't need them for that. Can be worn very comfortably on cold snowy days with just thermals and jeans. Great product.

The tag on this rainsuit says it was designed and tested by Tradesmen. The Tradesmen must of been women because the pass thru pockets, which is the main reason I bought this suit, are so small that you have to have hands the size of a women to put in the pockets. This suit replaced their Cloudburst rainsuit which had much larger pass thru pockets. Why do they change something that worked?

OK first the good stuff. These pants laugh at multiflora rose and dewberry and the fit and flexibilty built into these pants is fantastic. You can bend over, kneel and wallow around and these pants will not budge. They fit perfect over field pants or fleece long underwear and the web belt holds the pants tight no matter if you have a shirt or fleece tucked into them. HOWEVER, the zipper on the leg openings will not lock shut. So, as you are walking, the zippers just keeps riding up and the bottoms drag in the mud. The only thing that kept the zippers closed was the accumulating sap from all the Christmas trees I was cutting. A serious drawback in a otherwise tough pair of rainpants.
