Waterproof protection with ANSI/SEA Class III Hi-Visibility

Over 130 years ago, captain Helly Hansen started producing waterproof clothing for seamen. Today, it’s still the standard of quality for any man who works outdoors. And this Hi-Vis version keeps you safe and visible when it’s rainy or dark. It may be the most lightweight and comfortable rain jacket you’ve worn, in innovative Impertech™, a stretchable polyester knit that’s coated with 16mm polyurethane for 100% waterproof protection. Also highly resistant to abrasion, as well as most chemicals, acids and oils. Stays supple and noiseless in extreme hot or cold temperatures. Built with functional features that include visored drawcord hood that tucks away in the collar. Two exterior envelope-style pockets. Full front zipper with snap-close storm flap. Drawcord waist and adjustable cuffs that lock out wind and water. Back vent for breathability. 3M Scotchlite reflective. ANSI/SEA Class III Hi-visibility. M (38-40), L (42-44), XL (46-48), XXL (50-52) and 3XL (54-56). Imported.

Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Safe walking back-n-forth to work at dawn and dusk. Drivers only see the jacket - they would not see me until it's too late - a life saver!

Regarding the zipper? The zipper works fine! Grab the base of the jacket and not the zipper itself and it woks everytime.

Large fit to go over my winter coat - great during snow storms!

I walk two rambunctious Labrador Retrievers before the dawn's early light, down a couple of suburban streets that a few drivers have decided are their personal race tracks. (The speed bumps just goad them.) I need visibility, and I need it badly. This coat provides it, plus ample pockets for empty poop bags. And I can easily wear a heavy sweater inside. But the blankety-blank zipper sometimes just refuses to start correctly. Naturally it's when the dogs are most in need of a walk, or when a light sprinkle turns into a shower, or the wind picks up. How much do I like this coat? I don't want to give it up long enough to send it in for repair or replacement. But there are mornings you can hear me saying unpleasant words about that zipper.
