The old Boss Mans Khakis were tough and good looking, with gusset and hidden zipper pockets. They were the perfect pants, please bring them back! These are just OK pants, the fact that everyone else's are so bad means I'll still buy them, but only to nurse my Boss Mans along another year.

I bought these for my husband. He swears by the old version. He thought I had ordered the wrong item - the waist is too short, the zipper is too short, they taper in at the waist - in essence, girl pants. He won't wear them. The only way I could even convince him that I had ordered the correct item was the packaging and the crotch gusset. Sending them back. Bring back the old pants!!

The previous model pant was outstanding, the new model is not as good--to the point that I am looking to other vendors, Duluth's other products are outstanding.

When these pants first arrived, I was aghast to see the shininess noted by other reviewers. Being a Duluth product though, I gave them a chance. After several washings, the shine goes away and you are left with a nice pair of well constructed khakis. My only complaint is that the rise does not feel long enough. Even though the pants have the FOM feature, a longer rise would feel less "constricting". Otherwise, a durable a pair of pants that has been pretty easy care and fits into business casual perfectly.

So what do you say about front pockets so poorly placed it is difficult to put your hands inside or a zipper so small it is difficult to perform it's intended function?

I ordered two pairs of khakis a couple of years ago and they are still going strong. I ordered these to add to the rotation and they are nowhere near the quality of the older pairs. The fabric is completely different and the pants are nowhere as well built as the older pairs. Duluth, bring back the old pants! These are going back.

I own two pairs of the older, stone-colored Made In Macau plain front khakis and they are some of the best pants I've ever worn, comfy and virtually indestructible. I attempted to purchase two more pairs and sadly, they just do not compare. The new material is flimsy, darker, shiny and somewhat slick feeling. After a few months of being worn to college lectures and an office job, both pairs of these Made In China pants have blown out and torn from the crotch down the entire right thigh, simply while climbing into my girlfriend's sedan.
