I've had these boots four month and like them fine,but I think they should have a front pull tab also. This would allow for spreading the elastic more to put them on easier. It would also be nice to have a achoice of a more traction type sole.

I've given these (black) boots a month's wear before reviewing them and must say I'm delighted.

The fit is very true-to-size, comfortable from the first, and despite the thickness of the leather, they were very easy to break in.

I'd wanted pull-on work boots but was reluctant to invest in Blundstones because they're disposable. The pliant replaceable soles of these American-made boots may be their best feature. Undeniably expensive, but worth the price.

These shoes are hands (or should I say feet) down the best I've ever owned. I bought a pair half out of curiousity and half because I needed to expand my work wardrobe and replace shoes that didn't last 6 months. I found the style attractive but was a bit skeptical that they were inspired by an Australian design.
Right from the package, the pair I bought fit perfectly. They were comfortable and sturdy. The only thing I have done to them is periodically treat them with mink oil to help withstand our wet Pacific Northwest weather. I soon bought a second pair.
Recently I took a trip to Tasmania. Both pairs of shoes went with me. To my surprise this style is in fact very common in Australia. I wore these in all sorts of venues, from art museums to fancy resteraunts, city strolling, pub crawling and a Ghost Tour at Port Arthur. One pair tackled a day hike in the Freycinet National Forest and handled it like they were made for it.
These shoes are NOT for really wet, nasty weather or serious mud. But they handle everything else and look fabulous doing it.

I was a little taken back by the price. But once I receieved my boots it did not take me long to realize I made the right choice. They are extremely comfortable and look sharp. I love the fact that I can wear them to work and then come home and clean them up and wear out for dinner. The best thing is they are made in America!

I have a lot of trouble finding shoes for work that are comfortable and do not hurt my feet. So far so good with these boots. Quality of the leather and construction was immediately obvious! A little heavy at first but getting used to the workout. Best of all, made in America!

A good, heavy duty boot that I use for motorcycle riding. Good ankle coverage and easy to slip on.

If you have narrow thin feet like me try skiboot shims to take up some space. They are crush resistant insoles that are very thin but can be stacked.

My husband loves these boots. He has a bad back, so they are easy for him to slip on and comfortable enough that he can wear them to work.

I bought a pair of these in 2009. I have worn these
to work, on a motorcycle, and cleaned up worn to church. I just loved them, my wife told me to get another pair. Being a good husband I obeyed.

I just love them period. The first pair is in great
shape still.
