OTHER THAN THE COLOR - BECAUSE POLISH GETS ON LACES .
NOT TO MUCH YOU CAN DO ABOUT THE COLOR THEN LIVE WITH IT.
THE LACES LAST A VERY LONG TIME AND ARE VERY STRONG.
COST IS A LITTLE UP THERE - BUT IF YOU WANT THE BEST - PAY FOR IT.

I am a caver, and wanted shoe laces that would last, and could also double as an emergency foot loop or other emergency use that requires a strong cord.

These are great, for hiking boots, and do not fray or break like normal shoe strings do. They also do not soak up water and mud like the cotton ones do.

neutral color would be better to match boots, kind of a yellowish. But very strong, and abrasion resistant. I break laces every few months because I need them tied tight-these show no signs of wear at all!

I got these laces for my husband who is a fleet mechanic. He had been going through 1-2 pairs of regular boot laces every two weeks, sometimes less. He put these laces in his boots about a month ago and they still aren't showing any signs of wear. My husband also likes that they are flat laces because they stay tied longer. Only downside? Until he got them filthy, the bright yellow laces looked like they belonged on clown shoes!

Great laces! I bought over a dozen pair of regular laces for my last pair of work boots spanning two years. I'm rather tough on boots. These have lasted nicely and have already paid for themselves.
The gold/yellow color stick out, but when you tell someone that the laces are made of kevlar, they always ask where to get them. Thanks Duluth for being a real working man's store.

I buy a pair of the Kevlar laces everytime I buy a new pair of work boots. I always break the laces that come with any boots very quickly but the kevlar laces outlast the boots.
