Comments about Japanese Hori Hori Knife:

I used this product to quickly plant 10 dozen periwinkles in my flower bed. Because of the narrow width of this item, it was easier to dig down, move the dirt aside and plant the flowers. Many other similar items I've used are wider and therefore more difficult to use.

I've also used this item to aerate around plants. Just insert it down in the dirt a few inches and give it a twist.

Comments about Japanese Hori Hori Knife:

We were recently at your Port Washington,WI store. My son{10} and I are avid treasure hunters and we have been looking for a tool that can cut cleanly through thick turf and roots so that we can more quickly recover the coin or other item our metal detector indicates is buried below. We bought one of your Hori Garden Knives and have put it to hard use this Spring. It is a rugged and durable tool that is exactly what we needed.I might add we were very impressed by the staff at your Port Washington store, they were extremely helpful and friendly.I also find your gaurantee very reassuring-who else stands behind their stuff like this anymore? Thanks and best wishes,Mark and Jack Salerno.

Comments about Japanese Hori Hori Knife:

This knife was a Christmas gift, and I can't wait for Spring. I have been through trowels and knives by the score, this one feels good in my hand and feels well balanced. I foresee many uses, from weeding to planting bulbs, dividing plants and transplanting. I was disappointed with the case, it doesn't even look like it belongs to this knife and is flimsy. I will be looking for another way to store it.

Comments about Japanese Hori Hori Knife:

I use this product in many ways for my gardening tasks. I dig weeds, chop hollihocks when they are spent, cut unwanted vegetation, and divide plants-so far. I have had the tool less than a month. I find it durable, well made, and multi-functiional.
The product was delivered promply as promised.

I use this knife for weeding and it does a super job. It doesn't bend like my trowels so often do. I can also cut with the serated blade to divide plants.
