These are good quality bandanas made with strong cotton and I espect them to last for a long time. At first the material is a little stiff, but after a few washes it softened up considerably. That they're made in the USA is a definite plus.

I was looking for 'all-cotton' handkerchiefs,which these are. I was excited to find them. all cotton,made in USA, wow! When I got them, they were like 'tent canvas',so I washed and dried them 10 times! with other stuff like overalls. They did not 'soften'. If I had used these, I would have a nosebleed on the OUTside. I checked again to see if 'made in China', but not. The dozen or so red bandanas I have now are some 5-10 yrs old and wearing out, but they were 'soft' as a diaper within one washing. Help! anyone know where I can get some?

I ordered these bandanas in both blue and red. The red were great -- nice and soft. Inexplicably, the blue bandanas (same item number) remain stiff and skin-unfriendly after a year of washes! Maybe Duluth figured this out, because it seems like only the red ones are available now. Get these red bandanas if you want a soft cotton handerchief.

I use these bandanas to cover my mouth and nose when mixing cattle feed, i wear a size 7.5 hat and these bandanas are big enough to fit my head.

I was very disappointed. These bandanas are a very rough, uncomfortable fabric like a durable, industrial napkin. They are not soft cotton things you would wrap around your head or neck. Washing made no difference. Too small to go around my average gourd. Good for decorating. Good for the dog at the lake. Not for personal contact. Splurge on the wicking bandanas instead.

These are one tuff hanky, whether you're using it to contain hair, sweat, or a runny nose - just beware, as a hanky they are stiff and coarse on a nose for the first several washes. Get 'em in the summer, mistreat 'em for a few months, and by cold season they should be soft enough for the unhappiest nose! Love the made-in-the-USA! 100% cotton!
