Comments about Mini Captain's Mistress Game:

The Captain's Mistress game is great fun for all ages.. The game is challenging enough for adults and simple enough for children to play and enjoy. The wooden box is beautifully handcrafted and smells hand-rubbed as well. It is compact enough to take along on a trip and durable enough to make it back home.

The game is played like Connect Four, but the beauty of this game makes it all the more enjoyable. As a family, we like taking it on road trips for play in the car and at the hotel as our day is winding down.

Comments about Mini Captain's Mistress Game:

We bought this for our grandsons ages 5 and 8. [...]We took it out of the box so see what it was like and spent over an hour playing with it ourselves. We have been trying to get the boys toys that do not reguire batteries, computers or other "technical" things. This game gives both boys a challenge, can be played anywhere (including the car) and can be a guick game so it does not become boring to our oldest. This, and several other "old-fashioned" toys from Duluth, have fit our requirements nicely.

What a welcome relief to find this well made wooden version of "connect four". So much more attractive in our home and we love the portability. Worth a second look, You won't be disappointed.

Keeps a 6 y.o. absorbed and crafty. Too bad it is a 2 person game only.

We have listen to recorded books for many years. And we still enjoy them, even now, when the kids are teenagers. They often play wooden games as a side activity. This one is beautiful, challenging, and fun.
