I hooked this stap on my weed eater. I am very happy with the way I was able to shift the weight from my arms to my shoulders with the help of your stap. This has been very helpful to me. I love this product.

To haul a heavy load. The connecting straps are not sewn in and can slip out if there is not pressure appplied. This is an annoying factor.

              Comments about Tool Carrier Strap:

I purchased a pair of these to replace the original straps on my son's hard cello case. We purchased a hard, durable case to protect his very expensive cello from bumps, jolts and other environmental travel attacks. The flimsy, cheesy pot metal clasps on the OEM supplied strap broke after only two short trips! I replaced them with the tool straps. He is happy as the wide, well padded nubbled surfaces of the pads do not slip off his shoulders as he caries his cell on on his back and his teacher is envious! BTW she has purchased a pair to replace the straps on her even more expensive case! Great product please keep them coming!

                  Comments about Tool Carrier Strap:

I needed a heavy duty strap to hold my banjo. There was none on the market made as well as this one. A upholsterey shop sewed a couple of quick disconnect buckles on it and now I have a super duty banjo strap that does not hurt my shoulders when I pick a tune. I should patent it.

                      Comments about Tool Carrier Strap:

This is such a simple and obvious "labor-saver" that it's a wonder somebody hadn't formalized it into a "must-have product" ages ago.
                      Old-time woods-walkers routinely made a "Tump-Line" strap; a 3"x15" center-section used as either a head-band or shoulder-pad, with a 1-1/4"x96" strap of moose rawhide fastened to either end.
The tump-line strap rig was used for everything from hauling one's pack or bedroll to bringing in loads of firewood for the night's camp-- they just wrapped the two eight-foot straps around the bundle, secured 'em, and hefted the load.
The "Tool-Carrier Strap" is the modern version of this wonderful woods-tool--secure either end of the item, snap on the carrier, and there it goes!
Even a couple heavy-duty bungees or lengths of "550" parachute cord will work; anything small enough to go in the carabiner and strong enough to support the load.
A tool box is usually a bear to move, but with the strap it's a cinch: Put a few loose "550" loops around the side-handles of a tool-box and secure with a simple knot, clip on the strap, and sling it on the shoulder. When supporting the box with one hand, the box can be moved anywhere you can walk.
This also works for hauling six or eight 2/4s: put a few wraps of "550" east and west of the center-line of the stack, pull up a loop of each cord and clip on the carabiners, then shoulder the load. Makes moving bundles of framing materials through a structure a snap.
Or, carry a couple rolls of Romex by tying one "550" loop to each end and clip 'em to the carabiners.
I've even used mine to haul a couple concrete blocks, each, at a whack!
Anything you can carry by hand can be rigged to this and moved around easier and quicker, since you can shoulder the main weight and stabilize it with your hand and arm while carrying the burden.
It also handily replaces any ordinary shoulder-strap rig on heavy camera bags, shooting-range cases, and so forth, and will stabilize the load better than the original strap.
If the Duluth strap is shorter than the original, and that's happened, I just cut the original strap in half, measured for a comfortable length, riveted the ends together with loops for two simple carabiners, then clipped on the Duluth strap.
Mine stays busy; I use it for durn near everything where a shoulder-strap is desirable! AND, it's so well "over-engineered" that it stands up to such regular use with ease!
Yep; a real good tool, and a great bargain!

Nicely padded but straps do slide down but are easy to shorten. Shoulder pad stays on shoulder very well.
