130 years ago, captain Helly Hansen started producing waterproof clothing for seamen

Today, it’s still the standard for men who work outdoors and actually have to be able to move in their rain gear. Made of Impertech material, these pants are 100% waterproof, lightweight, full of comfortable stretch (up to 200%), highly abrasion resistant and virtually noiseless to wear. Also supple in hot or cold temperatures – ideal for outdoor work in all conditions. Full elastic waistband with drawcord assure a comfortable fit. Reinforced knees and crotch add longevity to pants. 13" zippers on each leg for easy on/off over work boots. Snaps at ankles. Inseam length is 30" for size medium and increases by 1" for each larger size. M (32-34), L (36-38), XL (40-42), XXL (44-46) and 3XL (48-50). Imported.

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

I used these pants on an extreme hunt in BC, and they didn't let me down. Rugged material that holds up to the most unforgiving weather and punishing terrain.Sizes run a little small so order a size larger for the best fit.

[...] these are designed for tall, thin folks. The crotch is extremely tight and I cannot imagine wearing these for serious work. That said, they are utterly waterproof and do have some give. NO pockets, not certain what the other reviewer meant, perhaps the jacket? Duluth used to make their own label pants that were far superior for working in.

What a well designed set! Finally a waterproof pant and coat set that are actually waterproof! Great design! The button adjustable ankles are perfect and allow you to direct the water so it doesn't just pour into your shoes. Yay! Plus, they're buttons, so you don't have to worry about getting dirt on them. I've been covered in a foot of soil with no adverse effects. The easy zip on and off ankles are very handy. The trousers are not hot and are very breathable. I wear them over my jeans most days, especially when weeding. One small flaw is that they began to wear out in the crotch near the plastic stress button after 4 months (I wear them at least three days a week.) And the waist just tore away from the elastic after 7 weeks. But, with the use I get out of them, I can't really complain. It's only a shame they don't make a smaller size for my coworker.
