Great work and/or casual coat. Warm, rugged, and comfortable. Surprisingly, the coat is relatively light compared to previous work coats owned. Details are spot on--soft corduroy collar and cuffs. Should be in my closet a long time.

The only insulation the jacket has is in the sleeves therefore it is not suitable as a winter jacket. By spending the same amount of money one may obtain twice the jacket in other brands.

My husband got this jacket and just wore it right away and really loved how comfortable it was. The tail of the jacket is a bit longer to keep the cold winds away from his "lower back". Great idea! It also looks sharp I think, very outdoorsy~not too fussy.

I AM A BIG MAN 52 INCH CHEST AND I LOVED THE JACKET. IT WAS THE END OF WINTER HERE BUT STILL ENJOYED IT. LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT WINTER SO I CAN START WEARING IT AGAIN. LIKED WHAT IT WAS MADE FROM AND HAS MORE POCKETS THAN I REALIZED THATS OK! A FRIEND FROM COLLEGE SAW IT AND PLANS TO ORDER ONE FOR HIMSELF. YOU WILL LIKE THIS JACKET TOO!!

This jacket feels great right out of the box. After a few washings it fits and feels like your old favorite jacket that you don't ever want to get rid of. I do cable maintenance for a phone company and I wear this jacket to work in. Let me tell you this jacket is rugged. I abuse it daily and it still looks and feels great. Layering with a hooded sweatshirt makes it great with any of the weather conditions that I have to deal with. The only thing I would change is the buttons on the sleeves, I prefer snaps that sit flush with the material so that they can't catch on anything.

I have worn many jackets over the years and this is by far the most comfortable and functional jacket I have ever owned. Living in North Florida, in the winter it can get somewhat chilly at night and in the early morning. That said. I wanted a jacket that was lightweight enough to wear when the temperature rose to 55- 65 degrees but also keep me warm in the morning when the temperature gets down in the low thirties. This is wearing a t-shirt or polo shirt under it. It is not a Jacket I would intentionally wear in a rain storm, but I have been caught in a couple of sudden down burst and the water just beaded up.

I am a motorcycle rider and I found the windproofing of this jacket very impressive. I have commuted 50 miles in temperatures 35 - 40 degrees wearing this jacket under my armored mesh motorcycle jacket and was never cold. For non riders a mesh motorcycle jacket is just that; it lets the wind go right through to the under layers. The Fire Hose Jacket offers fantastic wind protection yet remains breathable. Very impressive.

For those folks in the colder climates this Jacket would do very well with layers.

There are Pockets everywhere. The outer shell is as advertised, very rugged.

My only disappointment is now that it has warmed up here in Florida I will not be able to wear it again until October.
