Famed for its ferocious storms, Lake Superior winds can gust in excess of 90 mph, with sustained winds of over 70 mph. When a brutal wind like that whips ashore, it's good inspiration for a higher-performing kind of Men's Fleece Jacket. The advanced "soft shell" fabric in our Shoreman's Fleece Jacket sandwiches a windproof, waterproof yet breathable membrane between two compact layers of insulating fleece. Lots of soft shell fleece jackets available out there. But none built better than our Shoreman’s Fleece. It’s harder-working, easier-moving – and 100% windproof to block the fierce gales that buffet the docks in Duluth.

Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

    I bought this jacket to be used as a mid layer fleece to fit under a shell with the added versatility that it could stand alone against the elements if required. This jacket lived up to the billing, windproof, waterproof, and warm. It stood up to a weekend snowshoeing trip in the Rockies. Having read a prior review I was glad that I ordered a size smaller. Duluth is pretty generous in the sizing department and as a trim fit guy I found a smaller size to be perfect. I highly recommend shoremans fleece.
