I've had 3 of these vests. The first was had the best configuration on pockets - After that they moved 2 inside pockets to the outside, a mistake.
The 2nd vest only lasted 8 months, but I wore it everyday in Western Africa (except wash days). And wash days were harsh at best. Most pockets have something in them each day. They have held up well, and I plan on ordering a 4th when the 3rd begins to show wear.

Just finished a summertime Michigan vacation and wore this everyday.
Love it's light weight and ez to get to pockets. Great for airplane travel and keeping kids stuff with me at same time.

I would by another one in a minute. Great fishing jacket and lots of inside and outside pockets. I was amazed how light weight it was. Love the air-vents and got lots of compliements.

I own at least two dozen vests. This is the one I wear every day all summer. It will only last one year due to wear. It's the price you pay for lighweight ventalation. Pockets need to be bigger. Narrow pockets should be deep enough to hold glasses in a case without sticking out. It needs at least one inside pocket 12 inches deep to hold an eight and a half by eleven sheet folded in half. The two outside lower pockets are big enough. The double slide zipper is a requirement for motorcycle riding.

I bought this because I was growing tired of my pockets overfilling with all the stuff I carry around on a daily basis. It fits my keys, wallet, pens, notepad, phone, standard multi-bit screwdriver + extra bits, small multi-bit laptop screwdriver, telescoping magnet, sunglasses, electrical tape, 25' measuring tape, swiss army knife, multi-tool pliers, 6" crescent wrench, allen wrenches, gum, usb sticks, tweezers, chapstick, contact lens case + rewetting drops, headphones, mp3 player. All in one clothing I just put on and not worry about forgetting something. It's easy to arrange stuff for easy access and keeps everything secure as long as you put the small stuff in zipper pockets and large stuff in the velcro ones.

It can get a little heavy on the neck when loaded up heavily (such as with the 25' measuring tape) but zipping it alleviates the majority of the discomfort. When you have it zipped while wearing two layers of clothes inside it can get a little sweaty when working hard, but unzipping it cools everything down quick.

I work in IT in a corporate environment with a fairly strict dress policy and have only received positive feedback about the vest. This was by far the best purchase I made to help me stay more organized with my gear without the hassle of remembering to pack/unpack each item daily. It also allows me to fit a significantly more amount of stuff with me to be more prepared for the daily battles of getting things done.

It's a pleasure to finally be able to put my hands into my pants pockets without all the stuff getting in the way.

I leave my wallet, spare keys, glasses, and other essentials in my vest, then I only have to grab one thing to leave the house and know I will have everything I need while I am out. It has two large inside zipper pockets that will hold most valuables and some smaller pockets good for pens, small flashlights, etc. I do wish it had one very large deep inside pocket on at least one side to hold something longer like my cigar case or a folded sheet of paper, but it is still an excellent vest and certainly does not weigh you down or become oppressive on hot days. I wore it all day outside in 100 degree heat and it didn't bother me at all!
