The coat is pretty good overall for the price. The most significant fault is the lack of room in the sleeves. While the chest area and hood have adequate room for layering, the end of the sleeves are too narrow and result in an uncomfortable, warmth reducing and movement restricting binding down near the hands. It results in all your layers riding up the arm when you stretch. Another problem is the zipper, if started in haste, it will open from the bottom and can make you late for work. This reduces the coats overall versatility as a top layer garment,

Just got the Coat for myself on Christmas Eve, its perfect for size, comfort, and warmth. It is the best price I have ever had for a coat and great comfort fit. It is so comfortable, and love the red color looks great. I love the pockets, and the good qualty zippers, the hood is great fitting and lays out well zipped up. Its very comfortable, all the way around. Best value I have found for a coat I have purchased ever.

The Furnace Coat is very well made. I love the real hood. I have worn this every day in my dog kennel since October 1. If I had another chest pocket, that would be helpful. If it had a "snorkel hood" and you size up to add another layer under it it would take you down to zero degrees F. I would say this was/is the best deal in a jacket for the last decade. It's a keeper, Duluth. Keep up the good work, Duluth Trading Company. Great product, super value!

I think this coat is worth a lot more then [$]. This is easily a $60 to $80 jacket. I love it! It is warm and keeps you dry in the rain, sleet and snow. I live in Duluth and we get some wacky weather here. Oh ya, did I say that I love this coat! Great buy....

I wear this jacket commuting to the construction site during the late fall and winter. It is comfortable in the SUV as well as at the site walking to the trailer. It is not suitable for wear on site due to its thin nylon exterior material. The hood is handy if raining out. Lots of pockets on outside and inside.

The jacket is warm as advertised and relatively lightweight. I have some reservations about taking it in wooded area or fields with tall grass or brush due to the thin nature of the thin nylon shell. While I have not experienced any tears myself I also have avoided these areas on purpose.
