Women's Superior Winter Coat in tough Fire Hose® canvas

For bone-deep cold, the women's Superior Winter Coat is our warmest.

You’ve told us your work never stops, no matter how cold it is outside. This winter coat, our warmest and most rugged, is for you. Insulated with a mix of lofty polyfill and Insultex™ (a breathable, windproof foam), it’ll keep you toasty in freezing temps (down to 0º, to be exact). And never fear dirt, slush or mud: the 12-oz. Fire Hose® cotton canvas exterior has a stain-resistant Teflon® finish. (Over time and with washings, the exterior will soften and lighten for a gently distressed look.) To eliminate the stiffness coats like this often have, we pre-washed and pre-shrunk the fabric to feel lived-in from the start. Check out more work-friendly details below!

Women's Sizing Charts

Head: Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.	Waist: Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.	For best results, take measurements over your undergarments. Use a soft tape measure, and allow it to sit comfortably.
Bust: Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.	Inseam: Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".
Sleeve: Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

I'm going to really love this tough coat and especially its inside zippered pockets - no more fear of losing my car keys in the woods. I'm a size medium and not big chested, but this coat in a medium will be too small around the waist for wearing over sweatshirts. I'm re-ordering it in a large.

First day I received the coat, it was raining and about 50 degrees. Rain just sheds off the coat and the storm sleeves are amazing. Mud and debris also just sheds off. A little warm for the 45-50 degrees but with just a tank underneath it worked out perfect. Can't wait to try it out on the super muddy ATV trails this weekend. Dual zipper is really a great add on to this jacket too - did not think I would use but allowing the jacket to flare a little on the bottom when sitting or bending keeps me so much drier - I will use the feature often. Can't wait to wear this jacket in!!

After 10 years wearing the same winter coat, it was time for a new one. I got this one since it was rated to the coldest temperatures. I spend a lot of time hiking with my dogs in the winter. The package was deceptively small and light, but don't let that fool you. This coat is WARM! I wore it hiking on snowy days in the 20s, and it was more than enough over a long-sleeved tee and sweatshirt. I like the elastic on the ends of the inner sleeves that keep out cold air. The soft lining on the inside is a plus when you zip it up to the top and tuck your chin into the collar. I've only had it for about 3 weeks, so I don't know how durable it is, and I haven't tried washing it yet. Overall it seems to be a great coat!
