Best work pants ever, comfortable and convenient, and extremely durable with the knee pads. I also have the replacement version with out the knee pads and do not like them nearly as much. I am dissapointed to see that they are discontinued. I require the built-in knee pads and I have found a similar option at another retailer and will be forced to order theirs.

I am shocked this Item is discontinued. I may move all my shopping to another source if this is true. As a builder for 10 years- I have purchased for myself, for others, this item, and as far as I'm concerned, its the only true work-pant worthy of a work-day. The built in but removable knee-pads have saved my body from much strain and pain, the crotch gossetts allow for easy movement without bunching, the fabric doesn't snag on much, it also is sufficient for winter or summer wear. And the best part, is the optional tool pouches which can attach to the belt on the left and right. This feature alone allows me to have all my hand tools in place without having to wear a full sized tool belt, thus saving my back from the shimming effect. Please, please, please if anyone has a 34-38 waist size they dont want, I will buy it off you!

I thought the pants should have been more durable given the cost. The velcro on the pockets was a pain. I didn't like any of the pockets for my cell phone. I normally use the folding ruler pocket on the right but it was too deep on these pants and made it hard to reach my phone.

Right out the bag, these things feel great! They move easily with me, not too restraining. The buttons on the back pockets kinda sux, but will probably be worth putting up with. I've never had a pair of pants be so comfortable right off the shelf. The truth will come out once I wash them. More to come...

These were hands down the best pants I EVER had for work. I am so disappointed that you discontinued these. They had all the pockets you could ask for and the comfort and durability were incredible. Please bring these back, the ones you replaced them with are not nearly as good!

I got my 16 year old son a pair of these a few months ago and he now won't wear anything else. Momma called the other day and said "get him more so I can wash the ones he has..."
I guess he won't take them off except to sleep and bathe.

I find that these are a decent attempt at knee protection pants but the pads themselves don't seem to be holding up that well. The foam pads compress over time and have to be removed to wash. The pant material seems to wear exceptionally fast as well. Others make a permanent, gel type material on the knee that I think are a bit better because they never have to be removed. Kneedz

I'm in the middle of renovations (right now a bathroom). I've always had issues with knee pads to such an extent that I always ended up taking them off. The built-in knee pads in these pants are simply SWEEEET! Perfect strength, height. I just kneel and, voilà!, they're there.

I bought these for my boyfriend last Fall because of the knee pads and supposed durability. He's in outdoor maintenance and has bad knees. I'd also gotten a pair of the ladies' DTPROs and have been relatively happy. He didn't want them because of the tool tabs around the waist even though the fit was good for him. I decided to keep them for myself. I use them for general yard work. What a disappointment after the first wash and subsequent washings. The pants seem to be disintegrating before my eyes - holes developing in non-stress areas and fabric edges. I don't use bleach when laundering - they are just not holding up under what you would consider light use. They look like a pair of 10 year-old jeans worn every week. I'll keep wearing them until they fall apart because I do like the knee pads and outside pockets that facilitate my gardening chores.
