I am usually a size 6/8, 5'5" and 120 lbs. I ordered size 6, 29" inseam. They fit nicely--not too snug, and they follow my shape in a flattering way. They sit lower on the hips than some pants I wear, but it's not too low. They feel sporty yet polished. Love the material, fit, pockets and the coffee color. Also bought a few pairs in steel blue (would be an even better color if you made it a bit darker). Perhaps Duluth could include two versions of these--this style, and one that sits a bit higher/closer to the natural waist. Please don't make the waist any lower, though. Thanks for a great style!

I absolutely loved these pants when I got them. Within six months, the waist grommet (not a button of snap) pulled out. Since it ripped out of the fabric it can't be reattached. Definitely a design problem on such a fabulous pair of pants. Not a buy if it only last six months! Customer service did not respond to my email inquiry.

I reviewed these pants earlier and gave them only 3 starts as they attracted hair and lint, and the fit wasn't that great at first. After about 3 washings, the fabric did not attract lint and hair any more, and the pants adjusted perfectly to my contours. They are now my favorite warm weather pants. I hope DT will offer them again.
I wear them for dog training and as casual pants.

I received, by my request, a pair of these pants for Christmas. I had measured myself and, using the Duluth size guidelines, had given what I thought would be accurate sizes (size 8, 29" inseam). I thought it was a bit odd as I normally wear a size 6, but different companies, different sizing. The pants arrived, I tried them on...way too big-standing 2 inches out from the waist. The length was fine-a bit too long, but Duluth doesn't have 27" inseams.
So I sent them in for an exchange, and while I was at it, ordered a couple more on my own account. I loved the look and material and thought getting a size 4 would fix the sizing problem. The ones I ordered came in, tried them on...still too big. Size 4 is the smallest size they have! The waist was fine, but the hips and legs made it look like I was trying on my big sister's clothes.
In desperation, even though Duluth stuff is supposed to be pre-shrunk, I sent one pair through the wash, heavy duty setting. Huzzah! It shrank! Fortunately only in good ways-the length is now right for my 5'2" height and the hips and legs actually fit. They fit like I had ordered pants with the 'Relaxed' cut rather than the 'Trim' cut, but at least I can now wear them in public and they will look like MY pants, vs pants belonging to someone a size or two bigger. Hopefully this wasn't a fluke and all of them will shrink this way!
As for the color thing-the two pair I ordered-the site says 'Steel Blue' and shows a dusty blue color. The actual pants are gray. On the blue side of gray, but still gray. Not what I was expecting and not what I usually prefer, but I'll deal with it.

If I didn't need these pants for work I would wear them every day. Perfect for gardening when I am hot but can not wear shorts.

I am a plumber in north Florida. I do alot of bending and crouching. I even have to crawl beneath structures and in attics. I really need freedom of movement! I like that these pants offer that everywhere else. But the waist just isnt doing it for me. Im 5'6" tall and have a size and a half waist to hip ratio. I ordered a 16 and they feel like a 12!

I wore it once helping my friend's husband on their home improvement.It does perform well under stress and is comfortable and cool during heat.
Unfortunately,the pants are poor fit allover,although I did order the right size.Just too baggy.

I use these pants mostly for working around horses(but not riding) and they are much better than jeans on those hot days where jeans would just be sweaty and uncomfortable. I have also waded through rivers while backpacking and they dried out very quickly...I have never gotten hot in them but they provide superb protection. The only minor thing I don't like is that they stretch slightly between washes but go back to normal when they go through the dryer again. I love how you can choose pant leg, it's good for us long-leggeds.
