Comments about Lighted Dog Leash - Nite-Dawg Leash:

only upper 18 inches of leash is illuminated, not the entire leash. (The illustration shows this, but this limitation is not listed in the description). The lower 31 inches is a regular nylon leash.

Comments about Lighted Dog Leash - Nite-Dawg Leash:

I've used light-up collars, and I have attached lights to collars, but this leash is superior. First, it is visible from a greater distance and from more angles, as the light extends from the dog's neck to my hand. Second, I can use the same leash for each of my dogs, instead of having to buy illuminated collars in varying sizes. As the days grow shorter, I will use this leash daily for evening walks.

Comments about Lighted Dog Leash - Nite-Dawg Leash:

Great leash for those late nite or early morning trips around the neighborhood with your canine pal. Would have given it 5 stars except for the on/off switch. Very difficut to locate button in daylight and bare hand. If after dark, it's impossible to find by touch alone. Better switch it on before heading out the door.

Comments about Lighted Dog Leash - Nite-Dawg Leash:

Bought this about three weeks ago to replace a plastic version with a string of LED lights. When that leash snapped in half on a cold winter night, I remembered Duluth Trading. Fiona and I walk after dinner and it's dark all winter. I like us to be visible. This leash is a grade of nylon tubing that is light enough for the LED to glow through the surface, lighting about 18 inches of leash. We're visible 360 degrees. It is still strong enough for a semi-trained Lab. Good product.
