I bought this product for my husband who was working in the swamps of south Georgia. He wanted something to carry in an emergency. He has used it for a wide variety of things.

Great knife with versatile usage. First day I got it, put it to use just to see how well it performed. To my amazement it performed quite well. Even let a friend take it and use it during his survival training and he too is sold on this knife. Great handling, multiple uses for the novice to the professional. I used this item to cut rope to branches to small trees. Worked just as well for digging.

This would be a good all round tool for camping or the survival kit, for emergencies, where space was limited and you can only include one knife or hatchet.
