Works fine until the spring breakes. Then they won't close or open. Kind of useless. How do I buy a new spring?

          Comments about Man Hand Pruners:

When it is open it stays open. When it is closed it stayes closed. Other shears I've had have a sexy gimmisk to stay closed or open. This usually fails and gets in the way. I like simple. It continues to work.

            Comments about Man Hand Pruners:

This is a useful tool but was not impressed with its strength. I was cutting routine stuff growing in my fence line and the handles would bend and the pieces that are handle stops would cross each other. Not good. Also have to make sure that what you are cutting is as far back in the jaws as possible to get proper leverage.
I also painted the handles red so that I could find them if accidentally dropped in the grass. The wooden handles would not show up as well as red ones.

Looked good in picture, but this pruner doesn't have the power or cutting strength for professional use.
