I bought these erasers as Christmas stocing stuffers for adult family members. Following is the note attached to each box:

2) In spite of your own mistake-free lifestyles, there still remains the remote possibility that you might be subjected to the consequence of an accident of your own involvement sometime in the future that requires erasing, so the prudent thing to do is to be prepared for that rare occurrence, as unlikely as it now seems to be. For example, you might get a scuff or grease mark on your brief case or purse in negotiating your way through a crowded room or you might be jostled at a crowded cocktail party by an over-enthusiastic guest and accidentally drop a piece of pate on one of your new leather shoes. Don't despair, now you can erase all those stains away, worry free!

These 'erasers' are multi-purpose, convenient, clean, fast-working and portable. They can't spill or leak in your toolbox like liquid solvents, and they don't soak in, stain or discolor surfaces. On the downside, they are definitely formulated to be "better safe than sorry" - they work slowly, need a lot of elbow grease, and wear down quickly. Think of them as a consumable rather than a tool.

THE KIT DOES WORK ON MOST EVERYTHING THEY ARE DESIGNED FOR. I LIKE HOW HANDY THEY ARE FOR SMALL JOBS. THE KIT WORKS FOR ME.

These erasers do exactly what they say they do. Just make sure that you use the correct one as indicated on the package. They are wonderful. I bought more for gifts as you never know when you need to remove a tough stain. I love Duluth. You're products are well made and reasonably priced.
