Good stuff. I've repaired felt, cloth, canvas and leather.On finished leather, buff it like patching an innertube & it'll sure stick. Bought 2 more for Christmas gifts for friend in upholstery use.

Place wax paper or plastic under your work, it drips some.

Used this on a leather product and had mixed results. Was able to use this on a cut and it has worked fine. Tried it to glue 2 pieces of leather together and the results were mixed.

In his crazy youth, our dog ripped up a couch with a micro-fabric cover. Some of the tears were 8 inches long! After trying several other products that worked poorly, I used tear mender to apply fabric patches. This product worked great and has held up well over time. I also repaired a pair of shoes where the rubber sealing welt was separating from the leather. This is a useful product that I wish I had found years ago!

this does not work on tears the rubber just peeled off after it dried it might work to hold something together. its very runny out of the bottle

This stuff has saved many of my favorite shirts and jeans that were destined for the rag bin. My favorite trick is to cut the back pockets off of old jeans and use them to patch tears in the knee and thigh areas on savable jeans. The pockets are already hemmed so no frayed edges. Pieces from old jeans make great elbow patches. I have shirts and pants that have been through the wash many times and the repairs have held up fine.
One of my favorite jackets was used as a teething ring by our young horse. My wife said it was not repairable. Me and Tear Mender showed her a thing or two. It's back in service!

It worked, no complications, easy to apply, still holds.
