This tape specifically mentioned use on a garden hose cut. I tried the repair twice to be sure I was just not doing it right. Both times the repair leaked without putting pressure on the hose (water flow was unimpeded at the end, no nozzle closed to pressurize). Since this was the particular repair I needed to fix right now, and the most common that I encounter, I would not buy this again or recommend it for this purpose.

This tape's self vucanizing properties make it great for repairing a leaking drain pipe. I have also used it to temporarily fix an exhaust pipe leak, and for electrical insulation. It is a very handy item to leave in a toolbox for that on the spot fix.

This isn't tape in the traditional sense - there's no adhesive on it. Wrap it around anything and back to itself. The tape bonds to itself. Stretch it and it forms to almost any shape you can get completely around. Once it welds, it will not come undone; however, it can be easily cut off and leaves no reside behind. Great for wrapping tool handles, sealing low-to-moderate pressure leaks, keeping water out of electrical connections, emergency repairs, and anything you can wrap that regular tape will not stick to, including oily surfaces. The US Air Force has been using this stuff in aircraft maintenance for years. If it isn't in your tool box or emergency kit, someday you will wish it was!

We use this product on hoses to the pool, it works wonderful. We carry it in the car and always have it around the house. First tried it last year and had to get more for this year.

Very easy to apply with excellent adhesion, not to mention durability to oil and chemicals plus a nice professional factory finish when used for repair of automotive wiring harnesses.

I used this tape on my tractor's hydraulic hoses that had started to crack. I don't know how long this will last, but it's keeping me going for now.

after using silicone tape from national hardware chains I was very disapointed with it's quality and strength, so I gave your brand a try expecting the same results, boy was I wrong this stuff is great, getting ready to order another role. more useful than duct tape!!!

After it kept the gazebo from being completely shredded by a windstorm, we used it to keep our smaller trees from falling down and repaired a leaky toilet!

I'm not a good plumber.I need all the help I can get. If everything doesn't line up perfect it leaks. Now I have something that is easy to use and works.
