This bag does not have a shoulder strap. It is not a purse. It could be a man-handbag perhaps. So much more than a machinist bag. Men have to carry around things too. Not everything fits neatly in my pockets.

This is what every man needs. Perfect. Tool bag? I've got plenty of those. I try to lump certain tools together for specific jobs. For instance, I keep one bag with all of my drill bits and accessories. Another bag is filled with magnetic sockets, ratchet handle, and various filter wrenches just for oil changes. I've got a bag of hand tools that I keep in my trunk, with just the screw drivers, allen keys, sockets and wrenches that I need to work on the car. One bag is filled with card readers, sd cards, usb drives, small screw drivers, and cables for computer work.

The best use by far for this bag is as a travel kit. Just roomy enough for my toothbrush, tooth paste, shave kit, soap, sewing kit, condoms, mouth wash, Leatherman tool, dental floss, aspirin, plus clean socks, shorts, and t-shirt. You never know when you'll need to spend the night somewhere, and it pays to have a grab-and-go kit for those emergencies. I'm always ready for those spontaneous weekend get-aways, long nights at the office, or when I get lucky with a lady. Single guys, pay attention. Next time a girl in a bar wants you to come over, have this pack in your car so that you can be fresh in the morning.

Read reviews and bought this for use as a Purse... due to the 'doctor's traditional bag' look. It's large...and heavy. I will use it for travel/small carry-on... you can get alot in it. Will not use for 'everyday'... too heavy.
The leather and Workman ship is top-notch. Well done for the price.

I use it as a purse, but like another reviewer said it would have been just a little better with some feet on the bottom to keep it off the floor.

I LOVE THE SIZE OF THE BAG AND OVERALL LOOK, HOWEVER THIS IS A MACHINST BAG AND I WAS LOOKING TO USE AS AN EVRYDAY POCKETBOOK. I AM NOT A FASHION PERSON, HOWEVER I DO NEED A PROFESSIONAL BAG.
