Had this bag for over two years and it has traveled with me to the office everyday. Also it has come with me to Europe two times, great for carryon.
My only complaint is the fasteners get loose and will fall off. I lost one but the other fastener will do for now.

I am attorney by trade and found this bag to be roomy and substantial. The only drawback was the length of the bag for the size of files I use. However, it has been great for carrying some of my files and expect that it will accommodate the larger files once it is broken in. The inside pocket is perfect for my iPad. It also holds up well in the weather we get here in the Northeast.

I use this as a bag to carry around books, papers and my laptop. It's very roomy, surprisingly so, since it doesn't look very big. I like it a lot.
Both strap and handle feel very durable. The leather is thick, I'm certain it will last me a long time.
It smells amazing.

Great bag, I was a worried that I would have to send it back because of the lack of good pictures; I wasn't for sure what I was getting. I am a pilot in Alaska and I use it for my job as well as when I'm jumpseating back to Montana and Minnesota to see friends and family. It fills both rolls well. looks good with dressy clothes and holds most of what I need. If the company is reading this, please add better; in depth pictures for those of us buying on-line.

Great looking, sturdy and simple. It doesn't have the useless plethora of pockets and zippers. All I needed was a good looking, sturdy bag to carry my books in. This one did it. My only gripe was that one of the rivets was poorly pressed, but a quick trip to the hobby store fixed that. Excellent, and a highly recommended bag for anyone needing something that does not have an OCD organizing complex.

A fine, well made useful bag. Rugged and good looking in appearance. I like the fact that the inside is simple, no fancy compartments, pen or card pockets, etc. Just room for carrying stuff. Three problems though: It needs to be wider (at least 16" to take larger items (books, scores) and it's quite heavy. Fortunately, the handle is strong and is well anchored to the bag itself. Also, when the bag is empty, it tends to flop over. Would be nice if it could stand up alone. Lots of compliments, especially from women, who seem to like the tough textured leather.

Great bag, design simple. I get depressed with bags with all those pockets, flaps, zippers, etc... With me, if its out of sight, its outta mind. This bag is for the simple minded like myself. You open it up and it bears its soul. There is no hidden pockets, folds a.k.a. business card blackholes. This bag keeps it real. If I can be the guy who sends back the undercooked filet, the one problem is that the one latch is not fully fastened to the leather, could lead to an issue down the road.

Before this bag, I would walk out of my house like I just robbed the place. Pile of papers topped with batteries, cell phone, apple, wallet, newspaper, and writing instruments. Now, I look like an evolved human being living in the 21st century (or is it the 20th century?).

My wife gave me this bag when I started graduate school in 1998. Ten years later I was still using it to carry my laptop and other books and papers around. I used it every day and like a favorite pair of shoes, it is now a little too broken in: shoulder strap is stretched out from loading the bag with books, and the bag itself is a wee bit worn and saggy. Structurally it is still sound if very broken-in - this thing is an heirloom and you really can't hurt it.

In the end it is one large compartment with a couple pockets and I wish it had a little more structure to it. It is sort of like a map case, without the rigid panels. Also the shoulder strap killed me - I kept using it because I loved it and because I'm stubborn, but that thing rubs. There is a sturdy handle riveted to the top, so you can carry it from your hand to give your shoulder a break.

Something I have always loved (got to mention it): the buckles. No magnets, clips, or snaps concealed under the buckles. This is a bag that *buckles shut*. The steel hardware is excellent and contributes to the indestructibility of this bag.
