Comments about Walkstool - Comfort 18 inches:

I have bought many seats for hunting over the years. They are either lost, broken or stored somewhere because they just didn't cut it.

The walkstool, while I find it "pricey" is a sturdy, handy piece of equipment. It is lightweight, I don't even feel it in my pack, and opens easy. If I wished it could do one more thing is have adjustable heights. All things equal, I wish I had purchased the 22" stool. I would swap it if I could. I am not tall at 5'10" but I seem to be too low on this stool.

All in all it's a great piece of equipment!

Comments about Walkstool - Comfort 18 inches:

At some museums, when a docent talks, there are very few seats. My back aches when I stand still for awhile. If I move around, I am afraid the docent will take that as noninterested when that is far from the case. My portable stool changes that!

Comments about Walkstool - Comfort 18 inches:

If you ever get tired of squating down or bending over, then this is the tool for you!!! Recent injuries to my knees have caused me real frustration. Pulling weeds and cleaning baseboards has been almost inpossible until the Walkstool.

I simply use the Walkstool and lean forward. It is so lightweight and compact that I can also sling it over my shoulder in its carrycase or stuff it in my purse and carry it to parks and recreation locations. It is comfortable and convenient. The materials that it is constructed from are extremely sturdy, serviceable, and easy to clean. The metal parts are well-tooled and easy to fully engage.

I think that I got a really good thing here.

Comments about Walkstool - Comfort 18 inches:

My husband is a below-knee amputee. He has a prosthesis, and not much stops him getting out and about, but he has tiredness/pain/mobility issues. He's found uses for this stool that you'd never think of, including: an emergency seat (at events that involve much walking or waiting - this is why we purchased our first stool); out on his motorcycle for rest stops; working on the house, yard, truck or bike (very helpful for below standing height jobs); a travel shower stool (it works in bathtubs or showers in any position), a 'leg stool' for his short leg when he is sitting with his prosthesis off; a easy 'drier' for leg liners; a support to kneel on when changing stump socks; even a plate holder for snacks and meals when sitting. We loved the first one so much we ordered another one so we always have one at home and one for the road. A terrific product, well worth the money, and has never let us down (my husband is 220 lbs, it's never given way even on slopes and in slippery bathrooms). Not just for the fully able-bodied - a great boon to the handicapped. Duluth, you should market this on disability sites - it's the single most useful product we've ever invested in![...] We are very satisfied return customers!

Took to camp vacation where we work on projects.
Fits in back pack, good height, stable, comfy.
One leg seems to disengage, sometimes, but easy to reassemble.

I bought the 18" stool a couple years ago and have had no problems. I use it camping and hunting (beats sitting on wet logs or in the mud). It folds up small, and by adding a short piece of rope I can attach it to my belt for easy carrying. Very handy. Highly recommend.

I work in a store where I have to on occasion get on my knees. I'm a big guy ( 6' 3" over 250) and this stool saves my knees yet is portable. The ad said it was stout and it is.

Comments about Walkstool - Comfort 18 inches:

I took this stool berry picking, worked great to hold my basket but when I went to sit on it, it folded up and I ended up on the ground. As long as you remember to reach down and hold on to it, it might be ok, but my bruised tailbone isn't about to try it again. The 18" stool is not quite like that high. Maybe a taller one would be better.
