Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

I have been wearing these pants for years. Finally I had to break down and get two new sets after nearly six years of work and play in these pants. Having called in to talk to customer service a few weeks earlier on an unrelated issue I asked about the No Bull Guarantee, The Rep said sure send them old pants back and I did. It cost me $5 bucks to ship them back and I requested a different color to match my company's uniform requirements now. Less than two weeks later i was holding my new pants in amazement. I was strutting around the jobsite smiling and promoting the Duluth Trading the next night in my new pants...

I have gone through plenty of trousers over the years. I finally got around to buying a pair of Fire Hose work pants--and I am very glad I did! These are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn, bar none! They feel like they were tailored for me. I wear them around my property, I wear them off duty, I wear them all the time! I bought a pair of your Fire Hose Work Pants and put them through the ringer. I wore/washed them every day for two weeks to see how they hold up, and how they fit my everyday activities. They were comfotable and held up very well making them a very good bargain for the money. What suprised me the most was how well the pants are designed for real use. From the lay out of the pockets (including the small pocket inside the pants) to the heavy belt loops, key clip loop and pocket flap versatility. I found they fit the bill for any and all tasks. Highly recommend them.

These pants last forever and are so durable. I remodel homes and nothing tears them up. The pockets are incredibly functional and I love wearing them.

Almost Great Work Pants

Just one weird but significant criticism brings down my rating for these otherwise terrific work pants. Duluth touts the "deep pockets". But these front pockets are so deep, they hang down behind the cargo pockets. So, if you have stuff in both, they bunch up double thickness and can be very uncomfortable. This defeats the advantage of all the great pockets. I'll probably try sewing them up an inch of two to resolve this. Anyone else find this a problem?
As for how much shrinkage to expect, I asked customer service and they had no idea. Turns out they did shrink about an inch and are now a bit shorter than I'd like.
