This was a gift and I love it. I use it with my saw stop and it's comfort and ease to throw on is what I had complained about with other aprons. My previous one attached only at my neck and would pull on my neck as my day went on. The Duluth is lightweight and water proof.

Comments about Bib Apron - Best Damn Shop Apron:

I heat my home with wood, and cut and split my own firewood. Normally when using my splitter, my pockets will fill up with bark and chips, and my shirt takes quite a bit of abuse. This apron covers from my chest to my knees. Doesn't bind when I move, and the suspender-type straps are comfortable. The Fire Hose canvas is tough and durable, perfect for this type of job. My clothes stay clean, and no more chips in my pockets when I get back in the house!

Comments about Bib Apron - Best Damn Shop Apron:

This is a good apron as its almost impossible to find a good machinist apron anymore. But Duluth should really bring back their classic wide padded strap green apron. That had much more comfortable shoulder straps. Also I find the suspender clips harder to use than tying in the back. Overall it is an adequate replacement until they bring back the classic.

These are REALLY big. I'm 6', 205lbs and I can't adjust the straps down small enough.

Despite that, these are really quite nice.

Comments about Bib Apron - Best Damn Shop Apron:

I can't believe this apron is no longer available. It is, indeed, the Best Dam n Shop Apron! I love the criss-cross suspenders! Most aprons hang around the neck... and put an extremely uncomfortable load on your neck. THIS apron, however, spreads the weight (no matter how overloaded the pockets) on nice, wide, springy straps that rest on your shoulders. I wear this apron all day -- fully loaded -- with no pain or fatigue as one gets within a couple of hours with a conventional around-the-neck apron. It is easy to put on and take off without messing with ties or clips. It is adjustable to fit even large-sized folks like me. The pockets are cleverly placed on the sides and need no flaps to fumble with yet do a good job of keeping out shavings... even when using the lathe. The firehose fabric is sturdy and will probably last me a lifetime in the shop. Even so, I hope you will bring this product back; it is a great addition to any shop.

I bought one for my son to use in metal shop at high school. His shop teacher fell in love with it when he saw it. We gave the metal shop teacher one for a gift and he uses it every day.
