I bought this mans jacket because I don't usually find a good choice of features or fit in womens sections. I LOVE the roomy fit (if I want to I can wear multiple layers, but a shirt and a light fleece kept me more than warm without feeling restricted all winter) and ALL of those pockets! It's gone thru the rains and knife-like winds off the ocean and kept me VERY comfy. You can't feel the wind through it AT ALL! Even though it's fleece, it didn't soak up the rain like some of my other fleece AND non-fleece jackets have. The shoulders and hood fabric really work well in keeping the wet out. The zipper takes a little getting used to - you need to hold both the sliders firmly together then make sure that it makes a small click when you go to zip it up. No biggie! I bought this jacket in the early fall and wound up using it contantly thru hurricane and blizzard alike. It's actually a lot warmer and more weather/windproof and wearable than a pricey parka I purchased from another very well-known catalog company. I don't think they'd want me to write down their name - I like yours a whole lot more!

Wore this coat on a vacation to Germany and France. Standing on the cliffs above Omaha Beach at the US Cemetary the wind was howling and the coat kept me nice and warm. The goose bumps I had were from the emotions I felt for the bravey of the fallen there and what they gave theirs lives for...God Bless them that serve

Had I written this when I first received this jacked it would have been a four star rating. It would have lost one star because it is ridiculously oversized. Having said that the fabric is comfy and it does an okay job blocking wind.

Today it gets a two star rating because the zipper is extremely low quality. Why is it a a two-way zipper? WHY? It's short jacket, a two-way zipper seems completely unnecessary. The lower slider won't stay in place. When the jacket is zipped up, it creeps up. Try and unzip and you'll find yourself fighting with the zipper to get the lower slider in place so you can fully lower the upper slider and get the darn thing unzipped.

This working guy spends more time swearing at this jacket, than swearing by it.

My new Duluth Shoreman's windproof fleece jacket and gloves worked great. According to a bank I passed, the temperature was 29F. I didn't get cold on a 12 mile bicycle ride, not even my fingers. That's what I bought them for and it was money well spent.

I usually wear between L and XL. I bought the Large jacket and it is a roomy fit without being too baggy. I can wear a sweatshirt underneath it for an additional layer when needed.

This is a great addition to my foul weather gear. It also works well layering with my Shoreman's Vest! This is an awesome pair. I think the hood could be a tad bit larger to cover a stocking cap but it works as is as well.

Really nice item. I would agree with others that sometimes the zipper is a little of a nuisance to get started, but that would be my only complaint with it. It keeps you warm and is thin so you can still move around and get your work done.

Have worn this jacket in conditions ranging from 10 degrees with 30mph winds to calm 50 degree days. it is comfortable, wind and waterproof. Just wish it had a better zipper.

I do construction work outside 80% of the time in West Virginia and we have some rotten weather but this coat brings you right on through it. I bought another one for when the first one is in the wash. Great coat.

Bought this for my son who was just looking for a fleece and not expecting water resistant/windproof soft shell jacket. The fit was perfect with enough room in the body to layer some additional insulation to extend the jacket's range. The other typical Duluth features (cut to support movement, sleeve gussets, etc.) were the icing on the cake that make it more practical than most similar products. Great jacket!
