Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

I am normally an XL but I had to order a Large size to fit properly.
Even though this is a trim fit product, I still needed to order a size down to get a great fit. Other than that, this is a great product.

Annoyed about sizing

Poor Fit

On my third long-tail T-shirt, total cost approaching nearly $30 (and now I see the T is on sale for [$]). I originally ordered the regular long tail T in medium (I have a 40" chest - 165lbs) and found the "tradesman's fit" to be ridiculously large. I sent it back for a small which was also ridiculously large. I understand after talking with a customer rep that tradesman means someone who is a competing weightlifter or very fat. They swapped for a medium trim fit for me, but now I was paying full the [$] price, not the [$] clearance price for the shirt, which was the original reason I was trying the t-shirt.If you are an athletic/relatively fit person, get your trim fit shirts a size or two smaller. You should call and talk to someone in customer service and don't use the website for sizing. The phone reps know the actual dimensions of the clothing, which would be helpful to know when ordering online. The shirt is definitely top quality, but I'm still annoyed at all of the trouble and the fact that the shirt is still too big for me. I just don't want to pay another $7 in shipping.

wish I'd known sooner about the Longtail

My teen son is tall (6-4) and has been for years. I've looked for t-shirts which are longer, but the "Big and Tall" sizes mostly end up being "Big and Big": if a shirt is long enough, it's also hugely wide and thus unflattering. If the shirt is slender, there's the Plumber's Butt problem. I'm thrilled to find the Trim-fit Long-Tail t-shirts!

This shirt is great! I'm 6'4, 265lbs. Very broad shoulders and muscular back which causes regular fitted shirts to ride up high and show a lot of unwanted crack. The trim fit shirts fit perfect without making the shirt flare out too wide at the waist while hugging my shoulders just right, and what's best is that there is no crack on display!
