The reason I got this was to have a balaclava I could put my ponytail through. Perhaps I need to experiment with how I braid my hair; when I wore it with my ponytail through the hole, the eye hole rode up over the bottom of my eyes and made it harder to see. Also the nose area didn't fit quite right and pushed my nose making it harder to breathe. I also wear glasses which might factor into the fit.
In really cold and windy weather (for which it is designed) the mesh mouth area gets quite cold with condensation against my lips. When I wear it without my ponytail through the hole, it is okay but still not a great fit.
Needs more tweaking for fit; perhaps a straight eye hole instead of slanted one?
On the possitive side; it is durable, wind proof and warm.

the face seams are raized and are irritating. need to be flat taped seams. I wear it 6 to 8 hours a day skiing.

My husband wears his plowing snow and we have both been wearing ours out in the cold walking from barn to barn during lambing season. Great protection from the wind and elements.

I am extremely happy with this product. It keeps your face warm and dry, even when you're out in a snow storm. The only problem I have with it is that the part around the eyes is a bit loose, so it tends to pull up on my forehead. But, I wear goggles over it, so they hold the fabric down.
I would highly suggest this product to a friend because it gives excellent protection for your face against the elements. Plus, it has a pony-tail hole; something that I sorely missed when I wore my father's balaclava.
