Comments about Men's Extreme DTPro Winterproof Gauntlet Gloves:
I really looked forward to getting these gloves after reading about them. My hands get cold easily and so I thought these were perfect for me. My first time using them I shovelled the driveway for about half an hour and when I was done my fingers were cold and going numb like they always do. These gloves seem to be well made and fit nicely. But as for warmth, I do just as well with my fleece gloves that cost a fraction of the price of these! Greatly disappointed!!

I bought these gloves for my son who works on the loading docks, hoping that they would keep his hands warm. He stated his old glove liners are warmer.

These gloves were what I thought my husband asked for to receive for Christmas but they were not. After getting them, he did try them to snowplow and for other outside activities and has been thoroughly pleased with them! He likes the fact that the fingertip part of the gloves is reinforced and as he says, "sturdy" as he tends to wear out that part of any glove. So we have a happy person with gloves he didn't expect!

WHAT GOT MY ATTENTION WAS THE PICTURE OF THE GLOVE IMMERSED IN WATER IN THE CATALOG. I RIDE MY MOTORCYCLE YEAR ROUND AND WANTED SOMETHING THAT WOULD NOT GET WET IN WINTER OR TOO HOT/SWEATY DURING THE WARMER MONTHS.
SO FAR EVERYTHING ADVERTISED HOLDS TRUE. THE ONLY THING NEEDING GETTING USED TO IS THE POINTED THUMB SHAPE OF THE GLOVES SEEMED TO INTERFERE WITH THE BUTTONS THAT NEEDED PRESSING ON THE HANDLEBAR CONTROLS.
OTHERWISE A GOOD PRODUCT.

I got a pair of these gloves for my partner and our handyman. We recently moved to an area in SoCal that gets wet, cold snow in the winter. None of us was prepared for it! But with these gloves both men look forward to working outside instead of just shivering at the thought. I'd recommend these gloves for any man who works, lives or plays in the snow.

I primarily use these for doing water buckets for the horses, and for washing the car in colder weather.
I miss the soft absorbant area on the back side by the thumb for brushing and ichy nose.

Comments about Men's Extreme DTPro Winterproof Gauntlet Gloves:
Bought these because my hands get cold easily and I wanted some good gloves for doing things outdoors in the winter. Well, it finally snowed enough to use them so I wore them for the first time yesterday to shovel my driveway. Within 15 minutes my fingers were getting very cold and by the time I was done they were almost numb. The gloves fit nice and are study. But as for keeping my hands warm I get the same, if not better results from the gloves I paid $10 for, and these were alot more expensive.

Comments about Men's Extreme DTPro Winterproof Gauntlet Gloves:
I wanted a pair of gloves for everyday use when working outside and doing chores. These will not keep my fingers warm even when the temperature is only in the low 20's to high teens. The finger insulation feels very thin, and proved to be inadequate. However the back of my hands did stay warm while my fingertips went numb. I had read that the size ran a little on the small side, so instead of my usual large, I ordered an XL pair. They still feel to tight, especially as they are very rigid and hard to bend your fingers. So much so that it was difficult to even grip a lead rope.
I would not recommend these gloves if you really need cold weather gear.
