Comments about Men's DTPro Carpenter's Gloves:

I am a full-time law enforcement officer. I bought these gloves to use for patrol. They are super tough, and fit well. The open fingers allow for easy manipulation of triggers, handcuffs & keys, cell phones and touch-screen computers. I have used these for about 18 months and am completely satisfied.

    Pros

    • Fit well
    • Just what I wanted

    Cons

    • Not to durable

    Best Uses

    • Warehouse work

Comments about Men's DTPro Carpenter's Gloves:

I work in a warehouse assembling bigger items. I tend to get a lot of cuts on my hands from the cardboard and wood i work with, these gloves help with keeping my hands from getting torn up so bad. I have had them for a week and the pinky is already ripping, so i don't think they are really durable.

      Very Durable Glove

      By Dockplate

      from Austin, Texas

      Verified Reviewer

      Pros

      • Durable exposed fingers

      Cons

      • Hot
      • Longer cuff closure

      Best Uses

      • Anywhere you'd use gloves

Comments about Men's DTPro Carpenter's Gloves:

I work in a warehouse environment helping with loading/unloading freight. This freight can be anything from boxed equipment to wooden crates. I also use a laser scanner and need at least one finger exposed to manipulate the buttons and screen prompts. These gloves fit my needs very well. If I had a complaint, it would be the lack of any ventilation at all and the velcro-type closures need to be a touch longer.

      Cons

        Best Uses

Comments about Men's DTPro Carpenter's Gloves:

These are the best carpenter type gloves I've ever used. The fit is snug so you don't get a lot of extra movement in the fabric when carrying heavy or awkward materiel or pieces. They're pretty durable. The thread on the palm will wear out long before the reinforced pads will. A "must have" for any tradesman that needs superior protection coupled with the dextarity of open finger gloves.

          Pros

          • Excellent for the price
          • Great abrasion protection
          • Thirsty Thumb is great
          • XXL availability great

          Cons

          • Got a Mesh Back version
          • Padding in palms
          • Thicker leather in palms

          Best Uses

          • Anytime Anywhere
          • Great for most weather

Comments about Men's DTPro Carpenter's Gloves:

These gloves are excellent is any condition. The three open fingers allow for great dexterity when it is a must. I can easily attach nuts, bolts, RF cable/connectors, whatever. The Thirsty Thumb provides a great way to keep sweat out of your eyes and it won't get gunked, as it dries quickly.

I would love to see these gloves available in a Mesh Back Version as my hands sweat also, some times soaking through the glove palms. And also some padding or thicker palms, like the Ironclad gloves to provide some padding when using impact tools.
